A simple honk of a car horn at a green light on a Friday afternoon in Indianapolis led to the shooting death of 21-year-old Kentrell Settles. On October 17, 2025, Settles was driving with his girlfriend near the intersection of West 38th Street and Georgetown Road. When the traffic light turned green and the car in front of him did not move, Settles sounded his horn before driving around the stopped vehicle.
