Kentrell Settles, a 21-year-old Black male, was driving on Indianapolis’ west side on the afternoon of October 17, 2025, when a routine stop at a traffic light spiraled into violence. At West 38th Street and Georgetown Road, the car ahead of him sat through a green light. Settles tapped his horn.
