JaSean Artell Harris, a 23-year-old Black male from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2019, in a shooting that also left a woman wounded. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. in a parking lot situated in the 1100 block of East 16th Street, near the Monon Lofts apartments. When officers arrived at the scene, they found both Harris and a 21-year-old female victim with gunshot wounds.
