On the evening of April 2, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a disturbance inside a residence in the 4700 block of Leisure Manor tragically escalated, ending the life of 24-year-old Xavier Derryl Brown-Douglas. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:45 p.m. and discovered Brown-Douglas with gunshot wounds. Though initially reported to be in very critical condition, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
