In the early morning hours of July 5, 2022, a family disturbance on the east side of Indianapolis escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 26-year-old Anthony Higginson Jr. The incident unfolded around 6:20 a.m. in the 3600 block of North Grant Avenue, near the intersection of North Sherman Drive and East 36th Street.
