On September 6, 2021, Daeron Freeman, a 20-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Washington and Davidson streets around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found two men shot inside a vehicle.
