On November 13, 2024, Devon Anthony Highbaugh, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot in a targeted attack on Indianapolis' east side. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the 7400 block of Hiner Lane, just southeast of North Shadeland Avenue and East 16th Street.
