On September 17, 2024, 63-year-old Anthony Dewitt Young was fatally shot during an altercation at a south Fort Worth apartment complex. The incident occurred during a physical fight between Young and another individual, escalating to the point where Young sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
