Curtis Dewayne Sims Jr., a 23-year-old African American man from Fort Worth, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2022. He was found in a parking lot at an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Aventine Lane, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Curtis succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into Curtis's death led to the arrest of Dominique Amari Davis, also 23 years old, later the same day. Davis was charged with murder and eventual ...
