Jamear Powell, a 19-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically killed on April 17, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at Pollos Los Reyes, a business located in the 2800 block of South Madison Avenue. According to reports, Powell was found in the parking lot of a nearby Popeyes restaurant with gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to the hospital in critical condition, he did not survive.
