On February 26, 2023, 25-year-old Gerald Eugene Lewis III was fatally shot in an apartment on Mill View Court in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident also left a woman critically injured. Both victims were found with gunshot wounds and transported to a hospital, where Lewis succumbed to his injuries.
