In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in mid-November 2025, the life of 23-year-old Kenneth Murff Jr. was tragically cut short by gunfire on the near northeast side of Indianapolis. Just after 5 a.m. on November 11th, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 3500 block of North Oxford Street, a residential area near North Keystone Avenue and East 34th Street, following a report of a person shot.
