On the night of August 22, 2023, 45-year-old African American male Damion Dewion Cole was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting around 11 p.m. in the 9000 block of Wesleyan Road, near West 86th Street and North Michigan Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Cole with gunshot wounds in a parking lot adjacent to a hotel, where a party had reportedly been taking place. He was pronounced dead at the scene. ...Read More
