Death by Force

Jose Mathis Jr., aged 44, was found dead on May 2, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His body was discovered outside the former Indianapolis Public School No. 11 building, located at 3202 E. 42nd St., which is currently owned by a church called Evolve Group International. The building was under renovation at the time of the incident. The Marion County Coroner's Office identified Mathis and determined that he died from gunshot wounds, ruling his death a homicide.
