In the spring of 2024, the life of 16-year-old Keith Louis Ray was tragically cut short on a street on the near northwest side of Indianapolis. On the evening of April 11th, police responded to a call and found the young man lying in the street, the victim of a fatal shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene, becoming the first teenager lost to gun violence in the city that year.
