In the fall of 2019, the Indianapolis community was shaken by the violent and untimely death of 18-year-old Daemon Allen Link. A recent high school graduate, Link's life was tragically cut short on October 14, 2019, when he was fatally shot during what was supposed to be a routine sale on the city's southwest side. The young man, who had courageously battled bone cancer for a significant portion of his life, was meeting with two individuals when one of them produced a firearm and opened fire. ...
