On May 5, 2024, he was found deceased in an alley situated near the 1500 block of South Illinois Street, having sustained injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Known affectionately to some as 'Roo' or 'Hardhead,' Harmon was born on June 15, 1995, to Trisha Neal and Bradley Harmon.
Family and friends remember him as a headstrong yet loyal
and caring individual who was deeply passionate about his beliefs. In a recent turn in his life, he had committed himself to Christ and was looking forward to being baptized. Harmon had a creative side, enjoying the creation and performance of his own rap music. His interests also included collecting knives and other unique items. He shared a loving relationship with his fiancée, Alyssa Bradley, with whom he was planning to marry. Together, they cared for three rescue dogs that Harmon adored.
The investigation into Harmon's death is ongoing, and as of now, it remains an unsolved homicide. While no one has been charged with his murder, the police did make one arrest in connection with the case. A 32-year-old man named Dylan Day was taken into custody and charged with obstruction of justice. Day confessed to authorities that he had come across Harmon's body in the alley and had taken a handgun from the scene. That weapon was later found by police at his mother's residence a few blocks away.
