On November 1, 2024, a deadly shooting occurred on Indianapolis' near northeast side, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Jasper Dugan. The incident was reported shortly after 7 p.m. in the 3500 block of North Lasalle Street, near East 34th Street and North Sherman Drive.
