On the evening of October 11, 2025, the life of 22-year-old Tervon Omar Lee Townsend was tragically cut short in a shooting on the southwest side of Indianapolis. The male victim was discovered in a parking lot near a gas station in the 4700 block of Kentucky Avenue, close to the I-465 interchange, at approximately 6:50 p.m. Officers in the vicinity were alerted by the sound of gunfire and quickly found Townsend with gunshot wounds.
