In the spring of 2024, a young man's life was tragically cut short on the streets of Indianapolis. Jaymion De’wan Beecher, a 22-year-old male, became another victim of gun violence on the evening of Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The harrowing events of that night began to unfold when firefighters, who were in the vicinity of a laundromat on the northeast side of the city for an unrelated call, witnessed a car pull up and push Beecher out onto the pavement before speeding off into the night.
