Death by Force

On April 2, 2024, 22-year-old Jaymion De'wan Beecher was fatally shot in an incident that occurred in the far east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident was reported around 9:45 p.m. in the 9900 block of East 38th Street, just west of Mitthoefer Road. An Indianapolis Fire Department engine crew, who were at the scene for an unrelated incident near an Indyland Laundromat, witnessed a car pull up and a man being pushed out before the vehicle sped off.
