Any updates on this case?
On June 1, 2024, Indianapolis police responded to a report of gunshots while patrolling the north side of the city. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 6300 block of Brookline Drive. After speaking with a person close to the individual who had been shot, officers searched the area and found Derek Desean Host, 31, with gunshot wounds in a wooded area.
