White/Caucasian. On June 29, 2025, Billy Ray McKinney, age 53, male, was shot on Indianapolis’s near east side after a traffic collision escalated into violence. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers were dispatched around mid-afternoon to the 3500 block of Southeastern Avenue, where they found the 53-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
