In the early morning hours of June 26, 2022, the life of 23-year-old Kyson Ky Ward was tragically cut short in a burst of violence on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Responding to a call shortly after 8:30 a.m., medics arrived at the 1500 block of Renton Street, near the intersection of Keystone Avenue and Minnesota Street, to a grim scene outside a duplex.
