Christopher Smith, aged 41, tragically lost his life on November 29, 2019, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Smith was celebrating his upcoming marriage at his bachelor party at Jake's Pub on Southport Road when the incident occurred. The night took a devastating turn when a fight broke out between Derek Oechsle, a 33-year-old patron, and another individual at the bar. Oechsle, who was reportedly agitated and upset, pulled out a gun during the altercation and began striking the other man.
