On December 13, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., 16-year-old Kentrell Lasaveon Ali Johnson was fatally shot on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 800 block of Treyburn Green Drive, near the intersection of South Mitthoeffer Road and East Prospect Street. Upon arrival, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers found Johnson inside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
