In the early moments of a Monday morning in November 2017, the lives of two people were tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire that erupted at a gas station on the northeast side of Indianapolis. Trevon D. Harris, a 26-year-old male, was killed in what his family would later describe as a senseless ambush. The shooting took place just after midnight on November 13, 2017, at the Phillips 66 located at the intersection of 34th Street and Keystone Avenue.
