In the early morning hours of August 1, 2021, the life of 56-year-old Jeffrey Whitsey, a male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short by an act of violence. The incident unfolded just before 3:00 a.m. at the Living Room Lounge, located near Pennsylvania and 10th streets. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of shots being fired in the rear of the establishment.
