On November 6, 2021, at approximately 5 a.m., 31-year-old James Lewis Markues Smith was discovered with gunshot wounds in a parking lot located in the 5400 block of Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
