In the early morning hours of December 5, 2019, the life of 37-year-old Christopher Lamont Martin was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting on the near-east side of Indianapolis. A Black male, Martin was discovered with gunshot wounds in the 2000 block of North Parker Avenue, near the intersection of East 21st and North Rural streets, after police responded to a 911 call reporting a person shot just before 1 a.m.
