In the late summer evening of August 29, 2024, a dispute on the northeast side of Indianapolis turned deadly, claiming the life of 57-year-old Michael Alvin Edwards Jr. The male victim was discovered by responding officers inside his green truck, which was parked in the 3400 block of North Leland Avenue.
