In the late summer evening of August 29, 2024, a dispute on the northeast side of Indianapolis turned deadly, claiming the life of 57-year-old Michael Alvin Edwards Jr. The male victim was discovered by responding officers inside his green truck, which was parked in the 3400 block of North Leland Avenue. The driver's side of the vehicle was riddled with bullet holes, and the corresponding window was shattered. Edwards was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed ...
