On a summer afternoon in Indianapolis, 29-year-old Dontae Anthony Lewis was found with a gunshot wound in the 1300 block of Fall Creek Parkway East Drive. It was shortly after 3 p.m. on July 5, 2025, when officers responded to a report of a person shot near Ensign Graham Edward Martin Park. Tragically, Mr. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene by Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services.
