Chenard Johnson was tragically found shot to death on May 10, 2018, in the 1200 block of North Grant Avenue on the east side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., and upon arrival, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers discovered Johnson suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
