On a cold December evening in Indianapolis in 2013, a burst of violence cut short the life of 23-year-old Dominique Butler. On Saturday, December 28th, police and emergency medical services were dispatched to the 3600 block of North Gladstone Avenue on the city's northeast side following a report of a person shot.
