On a summer evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, the life of 43-year-old Kelvin Marion was tragically cut short. On August 20, 2015, Marion, an African-American male, was fatally shot on the northeast side of the city. Officers responding to the scene discovered him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
