On a summer evening in Indianapolis, tragedy struck in the 1200 block of Medford Avenue. On July 11, 2024, 36-year-old Otis Levert Keller, a Black/African American male, was found with a gunshot wound. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the residential neighborhood on the city's west side.
