In the winter of 2017, the life of 14-year-old Anthony Hughes, a male from Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Monday, January 30th, Hughes was fatally shot outside of a Popeye's restaurant on the city's west side, in the 3000 block of W. 16th Street. The sudden violence left his family devastated and a community searching for answers.
