On September 11, 2023, Keontae Imauni Walls, a 20-year-old man, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of a person shot in the 101000 block of John Jay Drive just before 6 p.m..

Upon arrival, police found Walls with gunshot injuries in a parking lot outside an apartment complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
