In the summer of 2019, the quiet life of an elderly Indianapolis man, Carl Petroff, came to a tragic and violent end. The 88-year-old White male was found deceased in his home on the 2500 block of Union Street on the city's south side on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. A friend discovered Mr. Petroff unconscious, and he was pronounced dead when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
