Shawn Lackey, a 40-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically passed away on August 28, 2021, after being found shot earlier that month. On August 11, 2021, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers and medics responded to a report of a person shot at a Walmart located at 5555 Michigan Road.
