On March 19, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred on the west side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Corey Duncan. The incident took place around 8:00 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 800 block of Chapelwood Boulevard, near Ben Davis High School and 10th Street.

Upon arrival, police found Duncan outside with gunshot injuries. Despite initial reports that he was in critical condition, Duncan was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. ...Read More
