In the spring of 2017, the life of 29-year-old Brandon Miller was tragically cut short in a burst of violence that erupted from a family dispute in Indianapolis. On the morning of April 6, 2017, Miller, a male, was found shot to death alongside 65-year-old Phillip McBrady inside a residence on Richardt Avenue. The scene discovered by police was the grim aftermath of a physical altercation that had escalated to a double homicide.
Investigations into the killings quickly pointed to a
suspect: 51-year-old Eldridge Moore. Moore was identified as McBrady's nephew, and it was established that Brandon Miller was a frequent guest at the home. Witnesses reported that a heated argument between the family members turned violent, culminating in Moore drawing a weapon and fatally shooting both Miller and his own uncle. Police had been called to the residence on a prior occasion for a disturbance, hinting at pre-existing tensions.
Following the shooting, Eldridge Moore was promptly arrested and charged with two counts of murder.
