Theodore John Helpling III

In the early hours of Sunday, November 24, 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Indianapolis. Theodore John Helpling III, a 43-year-old male, was fatally shot following what police believe began as an argument inside a bar. The incident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. on the 4200 block of East New York Street, where officers were dispatched in response to a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival near the New Yorker Bar, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
