On November 11, 2017, 47-year-old Stephen Neal Deputy was fatally shot while working as a tow truck driver in Indianapolis. The incident occurred at Capital Place Apartments on Continental Court, where Deputy, employed by Indiana’s Finest Towing, was attending to a service call. He was shot multiple times during the job.
