Death by Force

Frederick Leon Small, a 23-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 21, 2021, in a double homicide incident at a gas station on the northeast side of the city. The incident occurred at a Phillips 66 gas station on Mitthoeffer Road, where gunfire erupted, resulting in the deaths of Small and 18-year-old Ezekiel Watkins. The shooting left the community in shock and prompted an immediate investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
