On August 24, 2023, a deadly shooting occurred on the east side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Contrealveon Tramareon Carr. The incident took place in the 2400 block of North Pasadena Street. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers were dispatched to the scene around 10:33 p.m. in response to a report of a person shot.
