Tyren Whitley, an 18-year-old, was fatally shot on March 4, 2016, on the east side of Indianapolis. He was found lying in the street in the 3200 block of North Gladstone Avenue after being shot in the back. Emergency responders transported Whitley to Eskenazi Health, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
