Sheriff Jallow, a 50-year-old employee at a Shell gas station in Indianapolis, was tragically shot and killed on May 29, 2018. Jallow, who had immigrated to the United States from West Africa, was found fatally wounded around 5 a.m. at the gas station near 34th Street and Sherman Drive. Despite being rushed to IU Health Methodist Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Jallow was known for his friendly demeanor and dedication to his job, often referred to as 'King' by customers.
