Willie D. Williams, 35, a Black/African American man, was shot in Indianapolis on the afternoon of September 7, 2024, when police were called to the area of Wilson Street and West 10th Street after reports of a person hit by gunfire. Officers arrived to find him inside a vehicle, wounded and fighting for his life as medics rushed him toward emergency care.
