On July 30, 2016, Ryan Goss, a 46-year-old father from Indianapolis, was tragically shot and killed on the northwest side of the city. He was found lying on the porch of a residence on High School Road around 5:15 p.m., already deceased from gunshot wounds. Neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots around the time of the incident, initially mistaking the sounds for firecrackers.
