On a spring evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, the lively atmosphere of a block party was shattered by the sound of gunfire, leaving a community in mourning. Martavius J. Gray, a 17-year-old male, was fatally wounded on the night of May 17, 2025. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of North Dearborn Street, where a large gathering was taking place.
