Jason Pedro, a 24-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was fatally shot on September 8, 2014, near a Chase bank branch on the Westside of the city. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 6:15 a.m., near Michigan Street and King Avenue, directly across from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's (IMPD) West District offices^1^.
